Walked in on a Friday evening 7:30ish and got seated right away. Started off with smoky old fashion and a glass of Chardonnay.So good!Our entrees,salmon and beef short ribs,were just amazing!We also shared a crème brûlée,it was so good.My husband got a glass of Pino and he enjoyed it. Shout out to Max, amazing service ...he was exceptional! Shocked this restaurant isn't a 5 star. Yelpers-this place is very underrated!

I think this restaurant is so underrated in Yelp. We had a dinner here a few days ago, I was totally satisfied with the food quality and its presentation. All three dishes were delicious, and the service was excellent. I will go back again, and strongly recommend it to you delicately food lovers.

My party arrived for brunch at this venue for Mother's Day. We were impressed with the look and style of the place. It's intimate while still feeling inviting. Our server Tony was great at answering our questions about the menu as well as refilling our drinks. I ordered the Cowboy bene, it's a traditional Benedict w/sausage links. It was tasty as were the red potatoes with bell peppers that came as the side. Truth be told, I would have loved even more potatoes on the plate; they were that good. If you find yourself in downtown SLO, I'd suggest giving The Oak Grill a chance to impress you. Their menu has your favorites with drinks to cap off your experience.

This is one of my favorite cafes to visit in SLO. The croque monsieur with parmesan béchamel is absolutely amazing. I have to admit, I've only been for breakfast or brunch, but it was some of the best time to sit out front on the patio and enjoy the sun light. The service has always been professional and smart. Last time I went I had the Edible Garden gin cocktail with brunch. All very good. Next stay I make in SLO I think I will try dinner to get a fresh experience. The service here was great. I think next time I would order something different than the tomato soup. It was just ok. I really wanted to get the French onion soup but I guess that probably is a special. I liked my drink Abuelita Enfriada which is an ode to the abuelita hot chocolate. The empanadas were really good. I would definitely order those again. The salad was ok and you can tell that they make the dressing there.

Brasserie SLO is a Hotel Cerro restaurant, open to the public. They can accommodate a large crowd, seating indoors or outside. The interior is pretty basic, with a beautiful bar, almost floor to ceiling wall of bottles. I was here for breakfast & have zero complaints. Super friendly wait staff, prompt service, perfectly prepared over medium eggs, bacon, & generously buttered sourdough toast I substituted for potatoes. The homemade strawberry rhubarb jam was delicious, not too sweet. Bee Gees era music wasn't too loud. Bonus is the famous Bubblegum Alley around the corner.
